Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
Draft — pending counsel review. This page describes our current cookie usage. Final policy will be reviewed by counsel before any non-essential tracking beyond what is described here is activated.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They remember preferences, keep you signed in, and — depending on the cookie — can help operators understand how a site is being used.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
- Authentication cookies (set by Supabase Auth) — keep you signed in while using the site. Required for any account-based feature.
- CSRF / security cookies — protect against cross-site request forgery on form submissions.
- Consent preference (
cellintel:cookie-consent:v1, stored inlocalStorage) — remembers your choice on the cookie banner so we don't ask you again.
Analytics (opt-in via cookie banner)
- Vercel Analytics — anonymous page-view and Web Vitals data. Aggregates only; no individual tracking.
- PostHog (planned) — session-level product analytics. Activated only after you click Accept all on the cookie banner.
What we don't use
- No third-party advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking.
- No cookies that share your briefing content with advertisers. Ever.
Your choices
When you first visit CellIntel.ai you see a consent banner. You can:
- Accept all — strictly necessary + analytics cookies are enabled.
- Reject non-essential — only strictly necessary cookies are used.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site, which will cause the banner to reappear.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in and form submissions on the site.
Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies or tracking services, we will update this page and re-trigger the consent banner for users whose last consent predated the change.
